Entrants can submit multiple images for each theme as JPEGS uploaded to the Camellia website all photographs entered must be taken in or around the Camellia Group's global operations.

A decision as to the eligibility of individual photographs will be decided at the Camellia Head Office and is final, no correspondence will be entered into. Camellia Plc and the judges reserve the right to exclude any image they believe may have been excessively treated so as to alter its authenticity.

All photographs will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Composition
  • Originality
  • Connection to the monthly theme

The competition is open to all Camellia Group employees and stakeholders. Entrants under the age of 18 need the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian to enter.

Entrants must not be professional photographers. For the purposes of this competition, a professional photographer will be considered to be someone who makes more than half their annual income from the sale of their photographs.

All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered and must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries or their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured. Where an individual or a residential property, belonging to someone other than the photographer are featured, the photographer must seek permission and be prepared to provide written consent, when requested by Camellia. Further, entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.

By entering the competition all entrants grant Camellia Plc ("Camellia") the right to publish and exhibit their photographs on social media and on Camellia's Group websites in perpetuity.

Entrants grant Camellia and our subsidiary operations the further rights to publish and exhibit their photographs in print, on their respective websites or in any other media in perpetuity. No fees will be payable for any of the above uses.

Neither Camellia nor any of its group of companies shall be held liable or accountable if the entrant's photographs are reproduced elsewhere in electronic form (or otherwise)

By entering, entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules and Camellia reserves the right to exclude any entry from the competition at any time and in its absolute discretion if Camellia has reason to believe that an entrant has breached these rules, acted fraudulently in any way or brings Camellia into disrepute.

Camellia reserves the right to cancel this competition or alter any of the rules at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.

If the winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made, Camellia reserves the right to either offer the prize to a runner up, or to re-offer the prize in any future competition.

Camellia processes your personal data on the basis of its legitimate interests to engage audiences and contributors.

If you are unsuccessful, Camellia will retain your personal data until 6 months after the competition close. At this time, it will be destroyed. Your photographic entry will be retained by Camellia indefinitely.
