Avocados are grown in Makuyu, Kenya. They are sorted and packed at our pack house and exported.

It takes 3 years for avocado orchards to reach maturity, as part of our long-term production plan we have expanded our orchards by 46% since 2014.

SMALLHOLDER INITIATIVE

The smallholder initiative includes the sharing of cultivation, pest and disease control as well as harvesting to ensure they are able to export a good quality product and hopefully improve their returns. Hass and fuerte avocados grown by smallholders are exported to Europe.

All of our own production is GlobalGap, Tesco’s Natures Choice and M&S Field to Fork accredited while the Avocado Packhouse is FSSC 22000 accredited.
