After a spate of coffee shops in the last ten years, India seems to have rediscovered its love for tea. Regaining its position as the beverage of choice, it is now the time for tea cafes to take centre-stage.

Goodricke Group have over 140 years’ experience in the business of tea cultivation and strive to use this expertise to embark on the road to newer product development and to create different ways of accessing the world of tea.

Goodricke’s aim - to set up an exclusive tea shop to experience the best quality Goodricke tea. A space where people of all age groups can unwind and de-stress whilst enjoying India’s favourite beverage.

The location of each Teapot is decided from the answer to one question – Are we able to offer something new to the tea lovers of the world? In all existing locations, DB Mall or the flagship property, Margaret’s Deck, Kurseong, Goodricke aim to speak with different customers and provide them the experience of the finest teas whilst catering to the local palate.

Due to the successful operation of the Teapot in the DB Mall, Bhopal for the last 7 years, Goodricke decided to open another outlet on Bhopal’s own picturesque Boat Club Road.

The Boat Club, Goodricke’s second Teapot opening this year, is decorated to give a patron the feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation. The beverage menu provides a customer with a plethora of tea options to choose from, while the food and snacks work as the perfect pair for an interesting conversation over a cup of tea. The chain of cafes will give Goodricke the opportunity to serve customers specialty teas straight from the gardens of Assam, Dooars and Darjeeling, allowing Goodricke to highlight their heritage and unmatched expertise in the art of tea growing and production.

The café was inaugurated on 27.02.17 by the Managing Director, Mr.A.N.Singh, accompanied by Mr. V.S.Gulia, Senior General Manager and Head, Branded Tea Division.
