Eastern Produce Kenya donate materials to 48 primary schools

The EPK Scholastic Materials Donations to Primary Schools’ Event this year was hosted by Nandi Hills Township Primary. EPK demonstrated their continued consideration of the wellbeing of the community through the donation of materials to 48 primary schools around the company.

1382 students benefitted from the donation. All 48 heads of the primary schools attended alongside education officials from Nandi Hills, and members of the EPK management including Company Director, Chris Flowers.

Activities during the day included entertainment by Nandi Hills Township pupils, speeches by selected head teachers, education officials and EPK representatives and presenting donations to the schools.

EPK was also commended for continued involvement in CSR activities, those relating to education included the donation of desks and transport assistance during the KCPE exam period.

Leah Kibii, General Manager of EPK encouraged the pupils,

“Education is an equalizer in life, that everybody should take advantage of. Your future is in your hands; you will become what you choose to become. Write it down and remember it every day, focus on your education. I wish you well.”
