Eastern Produce Kenya, Chepsire Water Project

Chepsire water Project is an initiative started in response to a distress call by the Chepsire residents following a dry spell in 2015. Access to water is a priority to us all, thus following the 2015 drought EPK considered a wide range of solutions via the management team and local residents to develop a harmonious private-public venture.

The project, from the source to the boundary at Chepsire, was developed at a cost of Ksh 565,066.15.

The community was engaged in completing the project from the boundary to the main tank and thereafter distribution of water to households. The Chepsire community and Savani Estate were able to reinforce their positive collaboration in the development of this successful project.
