We’re proud to announce that ACS&T has been awarded with the 2016 award for "Outstanding Contribution To Health and Safety by a Full Member"
On 25th May 2016, the FSDF Annual lunch was held at Headingly Stadium in Leeds. The FSDF Health & Safety Awards recognise excellence at both company and individual level and this year’s submissions were certainly of an excellent standard. Sponsored by Citation Professional Solutions, the awards were presented by TASC Chairman Simon Williams.
ACS&T was nominated for implementing a series of measures that significantly reduced the number of accidents from 71 in 2005 to 9 in 2015. Measures included the introduction of a Health and Safety Council, Health and Safety Training for Managers, Safety Training in the FSDF, QCF Training for Warehouse employees and in the Driver CPC internal training sessions.
